an exhibition of digital fresco painting and works on paper
by
Linda Lauro-Lazin
Opening reception:
Saturday, September 10th, from 6-8 pm.
Exhibition continues through October 2nd
In Terra Incognita v.2, my first solo show at BAU Gallery, I am continuing
my exploration of speculative landscapes. The processes I am using combine traditional art media with technology. This body of work is about loss. It has grown out of a culture of digital technology. Each work is a hybrid of an impossible landscape and a disappearing natural world. The newest fresco paintings in the series include images of melting glaciers generated with artificial intelligence – posing the question, how will our world be remembered when we are not
around?
